Well I'm still catching up on the wargaming/miniatures world since I've left and came back. I've been wrapped up recently by painting up some of the Battletech models, which I never did finish up a couple of years ago. I still absolutely love BattleTech and what I've seen briefly of Alpha Strike has me very excited. I'm working on trying to put something together soon on BattleTech.
I've also been sidetracked by a few of the amazing new Batman models from Knight Models. My Man of Steel model is coming along very nicely, and the Arkham Batman I picked up is really cool too. I just got word that they'll be coming out with Batman: Arkham Origins models in the new year too. Good stuff
I'll also be putting together on a new article on Freebooter's Fate. This time out it will be on the topic of their latest rulebook supplement along with some of the newer models from Freebooter Miniatures. Watch for that soon. If you don't hear from me before then, Happ
Life happens. That best sums up why WarGameGuru disappeared 2 years ago. At the moment I can't say I'll be able to crank out the volume of content I once did when I started this site back then, but I can assure you that the quality of what I will publish will be on par with all the great stuff I once did here before.
As it stands I'm going to start off by attempting to publish an article per week and see where it goes from there. Last time out the industry was pretty rough to deal with, and I'm not expecting things to have changed much. So like before there will just be a range of products that I simply won't cover, because those companies are entirely impossible to work with.
Thankfully there's a lot of good people left in the industry, and there's lot of fantastic new games and miniatures worth looking at. So stay tuned!
