I know, I haven't updated the blog much lately. Better late than never right? lol
I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth, but I have been busy. There are quite a few articles pretty much done, except I'm just waiting to get the interview questions back from the companies to complete them.
I'm still working on Freebooter's Fate, it's taking a little longer than expected. I prefer to play these games as much as I can, before posting reviews, to give them all a fair shake. I'm also trying to finish painting the miniatures up for the article as well, and it's taking longer than I had planned.
Finally the stuff from Taban Miniatures showed up today, so I'll be able to post my review of their game Eden soon enough. I was also sent a new preview picture of the new gun that Quantum Gothic is working on earlier, which looks absolutely amazing. I have another review of some Quantum Gothic stuff to get done now too. This time out I'll be covering their bunker, walls, gate section and dragon's teeth pieces in a single article. The new gun is pictured above.
The Vallejo In Focus Review is also still in the cue. More good news. Reaper sent off a nice variety of pieces to put together an In Focus Review on Reaper as well, which just arrived yesterday. I've always enjoyed their stuff, and flipping thro their catalog is always a joy. Pretty much everyone, who is anyone in sculpting in this industry, has done a piece, or many for Reaper. Looking thro their catalog is like looking thro a who's who of the best sculptors in this industry.
This is looking like a fun article to put together, as Reaper has more going on today, than ever before. Their upcoming Reich of the Dead game is what I'm looking the most forward to seeing completed. Tanhauser from Fantasy Flight complete with the new revised rulebook also showed up the other day, expect a review of it in the coming weeks.
I should also have reviews of a variety rulebook products in a single In Focus Review on Ganesha Games this next week, which is near completion. I'm still adding more and more PC game coverage too, and I have a variety of PC games to get thro for posting as well.
Things are busy as ever, and it will probably only get busier with all of the announcements, and product releases that are always timed around Origins and Gen Con in the coming weeks. Warhammer Fantasy Battles 8th Edition is soon too. It's an exciting time to be a gamer that's for sure. We may be in for a long hot summer, but not without a lot of options if you're a gamer.
