You know, this may not be related to wargames, but I've been into Doctor Who again recently, and just watched the new episode with the new (11th) doctor that's supposed to air here in the US on Saturday, and I'm really impressed.
I'll be 40 this year, so to me Tom Baker (who's the 4th doctor) was the best doctor of them all, and he did have the longest run of any doctor in the almost 50 years now Doctor Who has been on TV. 50 years? Yeah I know, I never knew it started in 1963 either until I did some digging around the net earlier, so in 2013 it will be the 50th year of Doctor Who. I'm getting old!
Anyway, the last doctor David Tennant I thought did a really good job, and I was skeptical of the new guy, but seeing the new episode, and the previews for what's yet to come blew my mind. BBC is pulling off some utterly amazing special effects. The first new episode production quality was so good, that my twin girls thought they were watching a movie, not a TV show too.
Ok I won't bore you anymore, but I will provide these links if you're even remotely interested in checking out some Out of Print miniatures (some of which I wish I could get my hands on), and a Doctor Who miniatures game, the later of which is a free download...
